The substitutions, and what they change

  • PVC-free sheet — PETG or polypropylene in place of PVC for holders and printed panels.
  • Board parts — FSC-certified or high recycled-content board for headers and cartons.
  • Molded plastic — recycled PP grades where color consistency allows.
  • Metal — high recycled content in steel and aluminum, with mill declarations on request.

Every substitution has a trade-off

PETG machines differently from PVC, recycled PP limits how closely a brand color can be matched, and recycled board shifts print color. Confirm the compliance requirement before sampling so the material is chosen once, not after approval.
