A:Every shipment leaves with a commercial invoice and packing list, plus a certificate of origin, an HS code declaration, and any other paperwork the destination or Incoterm requires. We quote the HS code at order confirmation so your customs broker can pre-clear before the container arrives.

Standard documents and on-request documents
- Commercial invoice — priced per SKU, with the Incoterm stated.
- Packing list — carton count, dimensions, gross and net weight, and store codes where used.
- Certificate of origin — issued on request, including preferential certificates where the destination allows.
- On request — MSDS for adhesives or batteries, fumigation papers for wood packing, and test reports.
Documents follow the data
Confirm the consignee name, tax ID, and HS code before the invoice is issued. A re-issued invoice after departure is the most common reason a container gets held at the destination port, and the delay is charged against the shipment.
