Summary
Nov 13, 2025: Newstrail's "2025-2035 Floor Displays Market Report" forecasts global growth from $2.8B to $4.7B by 2035, with Asia-Pacific (China & Southeast Asia-led) as the fastest-growing region. Key trends: eco-friendly, modular/smart designs. Chinese manufacturers excel in e-commerce exports and global supermarket supply chain access.

According to Newstrail's report, China is the core growth engine of the Asia-Pacific floor display market, with a 2025 market size of $896 million, accounting for 34.4% of the regional share, and detachable modular displays accounting for over 60%. Production capacity is concentrated in the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta regions, with the export volume of related products expected to reach $175 million in the same year, mainly to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North America. Southeast Asia's demand grew 22% year-on-year, with local preference for lightweight and corrosion-resistant materials; metal fruit and vegetable displays produced by a Suzhou enterprise in China were popular in Indonesia, with orders increasing by 35% year-on-year. The penetration rate of smart interactive displays in the Indian market reached 12% in 2025, and is expected to match the Asia-Pacific average in 2026.
The eco-friendly material trend highlighted in Newstrail's report has been widely implemented in supermarkets in many regions around the world. An enterprise in Hangzhou, China uses 100% degradable paper-based composite materials to produce displays, which are formaldehyde-free, reusable and 40% more efficient to install, and have been applied in local Asian Games licensed stores and other scenarios; Europe leads in application, with many stores in London adopting naturally degradable bio-based material displays that comply with EU environmental directives. Market feedback shows that although the procurement cost of PLA displays is 15% higher, they drive 18% growth in sales of corresponding products and become core procurement items for many brands.
Facing global market trends, Chinese display enterprises have accelerated technological upgrading and demonstrated strong competitiveness. Leading enterprises have launched 600-1200mm telescopic modular displays, which accounted for 38% of exports in 2025; through process optimization, enterprises have controlled the cost increase of bio-based material displays within 15%, successfully entering the supply chains of international supermarkets such as Walmart. Standardized production has been achieved in the smart display field, with a domestic enterprise securing over 2,000 orders at the 2025 European Retail Technology Exhibition. In addition, over 50% of Chinese enterprises have expanded overseas markets through e-commerce platforms, with online export volume growing 27% year-on-year in 2025.
